The Infection Prevention and Control Rwanda Organization (IPCRO) organize and host conferences that represent a significant step forward in addressing the critical issues of healthcare-associated infections and antimicrobial resistance. The aim is to foster collaboration, knowledge exchange, and capacity building among healthcare professionals, policymakers, researchers, and other stakeholders in the fields of infection prevention and control as well as antimicrobial resistance.

Optimizing Antimicrobial Use to Combat Resistance
Infection Prevention and Control Rwanda Organization (IPCRO) is dedicated to optimizing antimicrobial use across healthcare settings to prevent the rise of antimicrobial resistance (AMR). Our interventions focus on implementing evidence-based antimicrobial stewardship programs, enhancing healthcare provider training, and promoting the rational use of antibiotics.

HAIs Prevention and Control Initiative
IPCRO is dedicated to reducing the incidence of hospital-acquired infections (HAIs) in Rwanda. Our comprehensive intervention program focuses on strengthening healthcare facility protocols, training healthcare workers, and enhancing infection control practices. By implementing evidence-based strategies and fostering a culture of safety and hygiene, IPCRO aims to protect patients, healthcare workers, and the community from the dangers of HAIs, ultimately improving healthcare outcomes nationwide.

Strengthening Infection Prevention and Control (IPC) Practices
IPCRO is committed to enhancing the quality of healthcare by strengthening IPC practices across Rwanda. Our intervention focuses on implementing evidence-based strategies, training healthcare professionals, and promoting rigorous standards in hygiene, sanitation, and patient care.
